Broken Logic Series

Oil on canvas, 2020-2021. Broken Logic investigates recollection and memory as necessary tools to center one’s ethnic and racial identity. The series is expressive of a broader connection to the Japanese diaspora, the relationship between the United States and Japan, and the concepts of dual and uniform cultural identities.
